CS 1.6 Recruiting: READ THIS ENTIRE POST!

We are one of the oldest counter-strike clans that are still active with a rich history. ZTK has been a solid community since 2000, playing together and building friendships. If this is what you're looking for you will fit right in. If not, move on. We are always recruiting. What recruits need to know about us is:

We expect our members to be dedicated to the clan
1. You are expected to stay up to date on news and events in the clan by checking in on the forums weekly.
2. We expect you to be active in playing on the servers at least weekly and encouraging people to join you if the server is empty.
3. We expect out of our members solid behavior on our server. Do not get into a trash talking session with others on the server. We don't whine about map changes and we don't complain about players. We prefer that yo're over 18 but it's not a requirement. We judge by your attitude and maturity not age.

Benefits of being zTk
The benefits of being zTk are first and foremost being a part of a community of gamers that are here to have fun and to contribute to the CS community in general. Though many of our players are quite skilled, it takes much more than that to make it in. Practicing enough to be an amazing CS player can be done by almost anyone with enough time on their hands - however being an asshole is hard to shake. Asides from being a part of a community of like-minded gamers here are some things you can expect:
1. An email address @ztkclan.com
2. Basic admin abilities on our servers
3. Extended forum access
4. The ability to move up into positions of responsibility in the clan (which comes with great access and admin)
5. Access to affiliate programs that provide discounted computer components to our members
6. Respect from anyone that plays on our server. Disrespect our members and you'll be off our server very quickly
7. Greater influence in our community including voting on new members

Sponsor program and how it works.
Once you have read these rules and if you're still interested in joining post it up on this forum. Recruits will have a chance to show their atitude on our server. If a member likes you he might be willing to sponsor you into ztk. Just remember most members won't do this untill they get a good chance to know you! They become responsible for your actions during the recruit phase of you being in zTk so not all members will be willing to do this. In other words if your an asshole it looks bad on them.They will not be able to sponsor another member for 3 months! Most members will not take a recruit lightly so its best to be on your best behavior. Get to know people! Do not ask members to sponsor you, members hate this bugging and nagging on the server means one thing. Your not going to get into the clan.

What happens once I get sponsored
A topic will be started in a private forums on the ztk website. Your name will be put up for a vote and people will discuss your behavior in the server and also on the forums. If your not active enough, act like a jerk, get out of line people will be posting this about you and voting on if you should be in the clan. If you get more then one no vote, you won't be getting into the clan. We have made it harder for a reason, we want people that think act and sound zTk.
Your trial period will last for two weeks. During this time you will wear a tag slightly different then most members it will look something like this.

Is that it?
No after you become a full member and get accepted in. You will still have a "Green" status about you. You will not be able to sponsor any new members to the clan for 90 days. During this period of time your behavior in the clan will be subject to serious judgement. At anytime during this green status your membership can be revoked without warning.

Membership Fees
zTk does not require annual membership fees like a lot of clans. We try to pay for as much as the servers as we can by sales of ztk Gear, through affiliate sales programs of which we earn a certain percentage and by the support of clan members. We do however require a one time donation of $15 or more at the end of your recruitment month and after you've been voted in. This donation must be received within 4 weeks of your vote ending (6 weeks from sponsorship). After it is received you can wear the full tag. If we do not receive it in that time, you must remove the tag. Your admin and other perks are not a right or a service you're paying for. This is still a donation, and access can be taken away at any time, if you are found to be breaking the rules.

We do not judge you on how good your score is more on who you are as a person. CounterStrike is about having fun together and not about losing control of emotions. We do have some members that compete competitively in counter-strike but this is not what we base our clan after. We are a public gaming community! We pride ourselves on trying to have a full server more then anything else.

We are a growing community of like-minded gamers that offer a chance to play to anyone who thinks that they can conduct themselves like adults.

Recruiting works like this. You ask to be recruited. We respond!
